This month’s sky: November to December 2026

November opens with Venus and Mercury still moving backwards, then both turn forward in mid-November, just after Diwali. Mars joins Jupiter in Leo, and in early December the nodes change sign: Rahu moves into Capricorn and Ketu into Cancer, a shift that sets the tone for the next year and a half. December also brings Saturn turning forward and Jupiter turning back.

In the background, Jupiter stays in Leo for the whole period, Saturn remains in Pisces (retrograde until 11 December, then direct), and Mars stays in Leo from 12 November onwards. The biggest slow change is the nodes: Rahu leaves Aquarius for Capricorn and Ketu leaves Leo for Cancer on 6 December. How these shifts land for you depends on your own birth chart.
